Mindfulness Meditation for Beginners

 The program is designed to provide a comprehensive introduction to mindfulness through both theory and practice including sitting meditation, lying down meditation and walking meditation.  There will be 4 classes on 4 Saturday mornings, each class 1.5 hr long.  (10am to 11:30am). Dates are the following:March 24, March 31, April 7 and April 14.

Mindfulness for Beginners is a 6 week program that is designed to develop a capacity for mindfulness. It would appeal to newcomers who are not looking to make the time commitment to complete the Mindfulness-based Stress Reduction program.

The classes are 1.5 hours and you will be learning mindfulness through extensive in class practices without the "at home practice requirement" of the Mindfulness-based Stress Reduction program.
