In the last months, 2 research studies have been published that suggest if you are feeling stress….you are not alone! And the holiday season is fast approaching which will often up the demands in our lives.

The first is the 2012 National Study on Balancing Work & Caregiving in Canada. This study gathered responses from 25,000 working Canadians. Fifty seven (57) percent of the respondents reported high levels of perceived stress. This is up from fifty four (54) reported in the same study in 2001.

The annual Sun Life Canadian Health Index reported in 2012 that seventy two (72) percent of Canadians were experiencing either excessive or uncomfortable levels of stress. This study included 3100 Canadians.

Whatever way you look at, the levels of stress are high.
