Take the opportunity for a mindfulness moment.

Please read these instructions slowly and notice the unfolding of your experience.

Wherever you are right now…..taking a few moments for yourself. You might look at the clock and decide to take a specific amount of time whether it is 30 seconds, 2 minutes, or 5 minutes.

Take the time to arrive in this moment wherever you are….inviting yourself to settle in.

Pause……

As you stop whatever you are doing, begin by noticing sounds….and the spaces between the sounds.

Pause…..

Noticing where your mind is and shifting your focus to just sitting here.

Noticing that you can feel the points of contact between your body and the chair

Pause….

Turning your attention to body sensations….and noticing you can create a sense of spaciousness for these sensations

Pause…..

Noticing your breathing…..bringing an attitude of full acceptance and welcome to this life force that is flowing through you.

Pause…..

Noticing the play of thoughts and emotions

Pause….

And noting that your awareness “holds” and “knows” all these different aspects of your experience.

Pause…..

And when you are ready, getting on with your day.
