In the last 30 years, there is growing research evidence that mindfulness meditation can be very effective in helping to manage and reduce the impact of chronic pain.

In a recent CTV news clip, the approach used by Dr Jackie Gardner-Nix in Toronto was highlighted.  To see this clip, click on this link.

The news clip reports that many people are finding that drug medications are often limited in efficacy with respect to reducing pain symptoms.  A number of patients shown in the short documentary comment on the positive impact of meditation.  Some report being able to return to work and much more normal lives.

Consider coming out to my workshop on Saturday, July 22nd where you will be introduced to the practice of mindfulness meditation and how it is used to help alleviate suffering from chronic pain.
