Our MBSR programs are designed for people who feel ready to go deeper into the practice of meditation and mindful yoga. The courses are more intense with more practice time in-session and a higher commitment of personal time each week.

Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction Courses
1. Calgary program starts Wednesday evening (Downtown location), April 18, 2012
2. Calgary program starts Saturday, April 21, 2012 (Marda Loop location)
This program is for individuals who want to acquire a capacity for mindfulness as a resource for improving wellbeing in a welcoming group environment.
This is our most in-depth program and it models the world-renowned Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction program developed by Dr. Jon Kabat-Zinn. Please see the specific dates & times at the bottom of this course listing.
What you may learn:
- Practical skills to improve wellbeing
- Methods for working towards mind and body relaxation and ease
- Increased awareness of the interplay of your mind and body
- Greater ease and stability of mind and body when faced with challenges
- Practical suggestions for applying mindfulness at work, home and in your social life
What you receive:
- Guided instruction in mindfulness meditation and mindful yoga
- Exercises to enhance mindfulness in everyday life
- Group dialogue and discussion
- Home assignments
- Practice mp3s and learning materials to support your learning and practice
Commitment:
- To reap the benefits of a mindfulness practice, participants are asked to develop a home practice of mindfulness meditation and mindful yoga
1. Calgary (Downtown location) starts on April 18, 2012 ( Wednesday evenings)
Investment: $375 plus GST
Location: livebreatheyoga, 703 6th Avenue SW (Free parking after 6 pm on street)
Dates: 8 Wednesday evenings, April 18, 25, May 2, 9, 16, 23, 30, June 6 from 6:15 pm to 8:15 pm and 1 (0ne) Sunday class, on May 27 from 9 am to 3 pm.

2. Calgary (Marda Loop location) program starts on April 21, 2012 (Saturday mornings)
Investment: $375 plus GST
Location: Yoga Mandala, 3522A 19th St. SW (Studio on street level)
Dates: 8 Saturday mornings including April 21, May 5, 12, 26, June 2, 9, 16, 23 from 10:15 am to 12:15 pm and 1 (0ne) Sunday class, on June 10 from 9 am to 3 pm.
