Practical Wellbeing’s workshops introduce participants to the basics of meditation and opens the door for further practice and study. They are great for those who would like a taste of mindfulness to see how it may fit in with their lives.

2 Hour Workshop – Give Your Life…Back to Yourself:  Learn the Practice and Power of Mindfulness

2 Hour  Monthly Mindfulness Class on Saturday am (usually the first Saturday, but not always)

This is a monthly 2 hour mindfulness meditation class.  While it is offered to past and current participants of mindfulness programs by Practical Wellbeing, newcomers are welcome.

The class will consist of sitting, walking and lying down meditations.  It would be suitable for anyone including a beginner or seasoned practitioner.

By offering this class, I hope to accomplish:

  • opportunity to maintain momentum and motivation to practice mindfulness meditation
  • Build some community around those individuals who are interested in mindfulness meditation in Calgary and the surrounding area
  • Offer a venue for keeping up your practice in a group environment

Current Dates for 2012:

Saturday,  April 21

Time: 3:45 to 5:45 pm (2 hours)

Investment: Free to any graduate of MBSR or 6 week Mindfulness Meditation Programs at Yoga Passage or Yoga Mandala;  All others $20 plus GST

Level: All levels of practitioners welcome including beginners
